Yesterday was our 15th birthday! In the hispanic culture (we're Dominican) a girl celebrates her 15th birthday with a quinceañera, which is a coming of age celebration of turing into a young woman. So turning fifteen, was like us turing into a young woman.

Trick or Treat

Halloween was a blast yesterday!!!! Our day was filled with laughter, free-candy and icecream, plus 3-dollar chipotle. This year, Tamia decide to go as Tupac and I (Tiara) went as a cat.

 I can't believe its only been a month since we first started our blog, I want to thank all the people who gave us feedback and advice about our blog! For today's outfit I decide to go with a red-ish color crop sweater, because I wanted to brighten up my look since I was wearing black jeggings. I chose to wear my all-time favorite boots since it would bring a bit more edge to my outfit. I am also wearing my favorite backpack which I normally wear on the week days and saturdays, since its my school and ballet bag (I take ballet classes).

      On Saturday it was a long and fun day for us. We went to an orientation for ballet class , which we be starting this upcoming Saturday which is very exciting. After that we took a short visit to Lincoln Center, which was great since New York fashion week, is being  held there. So we decided to go back there in a few hours to take pictures. While we were taking pictures our mom took a few pictures of us. When we were there we were amazed by with the outfits we saw people were wearing for NYFW who were attending the fashion shoes.Another thing that was cool very cool was they had a giant projector showing a previous fashion show that was  held there earlier. Which was the Rebecca Minkoff 2014 Spring collection show with performance by Janelle Monae. There are so many dreams of our there. We can't wait for the day that we would be there to watch a fashion show or even walking on the runway. Or one day having our own fashion  held there during New York Fashion Week.

Blossom

Today's outfit was very simple, this is a sad week since it is my last week of summer vacation. I'm starting 10th grade on the 9th! Since today was a casual day I decide to wear a graphic crop tee and denim shorts from American Eagle. Also my favorite sandals from Sam Edelman, I'm also wearing a couple of bracelets. Right now I'm obsessed with arm candy, its a popular trend right now some of the bracelets I am wearing are from camp, stores, events I have been to. My favorite is the friendship bracelet that me and my sister got for each other.

A walk in the park

Today's shoot was in central park, this particular part we were in is called Conservatory Garden's South Garden. It is very beautiful there, it is filled with many kinds of flowers and plants. The only problem was that there was many bees every where, other than that it was a very fun shoot. The shirt that I am wearing is one of my favorite graphic tee's that I own, I first saw this shirt on someone that follow instagram, and I fell in loved with it right away and I knew I had to get it. The skirt that I am wearing is from American Apparel, the boots are from VC Signature  (we bought them from Marshalls) and the shirt is from Urban Outfitters.

School Ready #2

This week I did a little of back to school shopping. On September 9th we are going to be starting our sophomore year of high school. I'm sad about this, because I really do not want summer vacation to end and go back to school. But I'm excited to find out what new things we will be learning this year in school. One of the stores I went to for my mini shopping trip was American Eagle, which is were I got the PEARL KNIT CROP THERMAL and the pair dark jegging. Another store that I went to was Marshalls, which is were I got these really cute pair of  boots. When I saw them,  I knew I had to get them, they are from Vince Camuto.
